Cruising Log - preparation
14-17th October, 2005: Liz and I visited our friends Glenda & Warren in Melbourne to discuss next years cruising plans. They have a 43ft (13m) Granger catamaran called "Catamaran Imagine".
They have been doing a major refit and the cat was ready to go back into the water the day we arrived. Here are a couple of photos of the relaunch.
Planned cruise of the East Coast of Australia (Eden - Whitsundays)
Currently our plans are to sail from the Gold Coast south next February (2006). We will meet up with Glenda & Warren on Catamaran Imagine who will be sailing from Westernport Bay (Melbourne). We expect to meet in Eden early March 2006.We will then do a leisurely cruise north up the East Coast of Austalia together. Our destination will be the Whitsundays or beyond.
